It’s a very childish way to treat someone, I’m glad to hear he’s now an ex!!! You had the right attitude in the end, but by then I guess your relationship was pretty much over with 🙂

My ex-partner used to give me the silent treatment, and I hated it, until I got over it and didn’t care anymore!
