My life is a desert
No water to be found
My well has run dry –
Fading hope has died.
I kneel before thee
My Savior and King
Plead for living waters –
To quench my soul’s deep
Need.
My life is a desert
No water to be found
My well has run dry –
Fading hope has died.
I kneel before thee
My Savior and King
Plead for living waters –
To quench my soul’s deep
Need.

The biblical metaphor of the desert is so powerful to me, Vonita. There are desert times in our life–spiritually and emotionally. There is also so much grace. Beautifully express…may God end the drought.
