I felt envy
A feeling I did not want
Or want to admit
Or want to feel
Or want to own
And yet
It was a feeling
I had to admit
I had to feel
I had to own
In a world
Of blessing
And grace
I am bound
To nature
To self
To want
To desire
To envy
And above all
To love

Wonderful ending, fascinated me dear Vonita, Thank you, love, nia

It is difficult not to be envious of others atleast sometimes. It is a human emotion, we cannot help. Is your speaker envious of love? Because that what he or she is bound by? Great job.

Yes, mandibelle, that expresses it perfectly, envious of love. And comparing blessing of others in relation to the speaker’s own. Even though there is so much to be thankful for, really. Xx

The ego feeds on envy, but we must hold onto love.. Very cool.
