Reminds me of a hymn I play…” Nearer, my God to thee, nearer to thee, E’en though it be a cross that raiseth me: still all my song would be, Nearer, my God, to thee, Nearer to thee, nearer to thee,”
Lovely Sunday post…prayerful. x
Those are lovely words, thank you, we have a hymn “Nearer, still nearer, close to Thy heart, draw me, my Saviour so precious thou art…” Lovely hymns! Xx
Lol…with my super duper computer wizard son home for a few days from Uni, he has helped me to customise my Site a wee bit! Yes I definitely like your alterations…a descriptive ending to your lovely prayer for Sunday. 🙂 thank you for noticing profile pic…it took a while to get sorted…lol, getting old Vonita…getting old!!
But yet you persevered to publish, Vonita. We are our own worst critics, right? If you had not said revealed that in a comment, nobody would have known about your indecision regarding the last two lines and merely would have admired them. ❤

Amen, Vonita. Well sent upward, toyed with the last two lines or not.

Thank you, Mark! It’s a terrible feeling getting to the last two lines, and then not being able to complete the poem! Or prayer, in this case!

❤ normally a poem pops in my head and I just have to type it not think about it at all. And then sometimes i am let down by some missing lines!
