I took a risk in creating a blog
Only ever having read a few cooking blogs before
Not knowing what I will do with a blog
But feeling that it was needing to be born
So I created a blog, and gave it a name
And published a few words to begin
Poor baby blog was then discarded at will
For a while, maybe nine months at that
But waited patiently for me to return
It took a short while, but I never forgot
About a blog waiting silently for new life,
I returned to breathe words once again
So here I am, and there is so much to learn
And every new day, I will now joyfully embrace –
Every new post, every new thought, every new word
That flows from my heart, that my blog can display!

Yay! I’m glad you decided to return ^^

Thank you so much, I am too! Wasn’t planning to at all, but then a combination of life events upset me in September, so out of desperation I decided to write, and lucky for me I had a blog already waiting to go 🙂

I want to say thank you for returning hehe otherwise I wouldn’t have known your writings ^^
And glad that you could find writing as a way to deal with events that upset you. Hope all is well now 🙂

Thank you, all is well at the moment, thank you so much for caring! I have been writing around the clock (sleep from 2-6am), have registered for a visual design course from next week, so I can be across the design of my book which I have written. All the events that have upset me have been used as inspiration to pen a book (and a blog) So haven’t had much time to focus on my usual obsessions that would take up my normal thoughts (writing has become my new obsession LOL) Problem is I am still attending a day job until December 23rd (go to work every day looking very tired on four hours sleep), and then have four months sabbatical, then I can write to my heart’s content, YAY!

Wow it sounds exhausting, and from next week your routine will be added with the visual design course right? But a routine that we can enjoy is surely a positive one, even if it’s exhausting 🙂
I wish you the best of luck for your book, for the course, and for more of your writings ^^

Thank you, yes, the course starts on 2nd December for 8 weeks, every Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Am really looking forward to it, because I have never done anything like this before (I shunned any form of arts and crafts at school except for needlework, and shunned languages too, only interested in maths), and have hobbled together a 100 pages – poetry with graphic design (crash course on how to do overlays and work with images etc), so now can take my book along as a case study – what fonts to use, color selection etc. I have a designer friend that I have engaged, she is going to professionally design the book for me (it is a coffee table style gift book, so needs to be visually appealing), but I will use the course to learn what I can for future endeavours. Also, the course is covering branding, logo design etc, all things I can use in my blog, so very exciting and I am very excited! 🙂

I’m sorry for the late reply, the internet connection here sucks -_-
And I’m sorry I made a new comment instead of replying. Again, the internet connection is hindering everything.
That sounds great and exciting! This makes me want to explore art again, after a long time of hating my drawing skill.
But please remember to rest well, okay? 😉 Sometimes when we get really into what we enjoy doing, we forget to rest and our body will be too tired.
I hope everything will go well, and don’t forget that persistence is the key so whatever obstacle that might come along the way, at the course or during your learning in general, please remember to keep trying until you can gain enough skill to produce better arts and writings, and more ^^

Yes, does seem to be beyond my control. Am getting lectured by those in my world- it is madness that one would write at midnight every night, you need to look after yourself, eat well, get sleep, I’ve been living on the side of safety for most of my life, time to live on the edge LOL 🙂
