I do not like change
Especially when nothing is broken
I do not like fixing things
That already work
But in saying that
I tested a new theme
Just for fun
And cannot seem to revert
So here it is
And this is now
Passion through Poetry
Has a new theme
Are we lovin’ it?
(Still trying to figure out front pages and header images and taglines etc)

I wrote a letter to my love
And sprayed it all with scent
Poor letter though did not go well
For hand write could not be read
He tried his best, he really did
It’s not his fault at all
So after hours, minutes, days and nights
A phone call I received
To thank me for the letter sweet
Even though it made no sense
He tried to make out all the words
But could I read it back to him?
The calmness after the storm
Ceremony over, whirlwind done
I am married, I am loved
No longer walking this life alone
Peace and calm and serenity
Before our new life, and all that will be
Creates whirlwinds to carry us along
Our path of life and love and union

Love is the warmth inside

Love is the hope you feel
When treated with dignity
Love is the self-esteem that builds
When accepted for the self within
Love is the humility you feel
When treated better than you act
Love is the love you feel
When loved for who you are

I have a friend
We disagree on almost everything
But most of all we disagree
On life and parenting
To keep the peace and a friend
I practice tact, diplomacy
So instead of going for the kill
I’ve learnt to be quite still
With flair, I will live my life
With finesse, I will write my soul’s poetry
With passion, I will love with my heart’s whole
