Against your chest

During the middle of one
Dark, arbitrary, random night
When insonnia took hold
And sleep was nowhere to be found
I googled images and counted them
And the eleventh image
That appeared into view
Was words of wisdom
Explaining so prophetically
That ‘life is random’
And I do concur
For everything in my life so far
Has happened so very randomly
It’s all random, people
I am random
You are random
We are all random
Yay us!
