Your face flickers
In front of me
Your eyes haunt
The depth of me

The flickering eyes of a man remind me of our flirting fluttering eyes.
If the face flickers, then maybe it will fade away. . . and give us peace.

Yes, unfortunately I saw the face again today, and the pain is still there, but hopefully it will fade xx

Just discovered you’re work and it’s really beautiful and insightful. I love how this poem embodies a flicker in its structure – clever!
