Thorn in my side
Wound in my flesh
Testing me
I wrapped myself
In cocoon of love
And breathed
I am stronger
I am growing
I’m alive
Thorn in my side
Wound in my flesh
Testing me
I wrapped myself
In cocoon of love
And breathed
I am stronger
I am growing
I’m alive
I love this strength and positivity in this poem.

I had to deal with a situation today, C, and normally would have melted down by now, so very glad that I have managed to stay as strong as can be!

It’s all healing. And the healed part is always stronger than before!

I don’t know if it will be stronger than before Erika, can’t say I’m there yet, but was able to withstand a situation that would normally have left me in tears. I am sad, but am okay, I’m doing fine! Xx

Beautiful poem, especially hit me this part,
“I wrapped myself
In cocoon of love
And breathed”
Thank you dear Vonita, can I quote these lines on top of my page with your name?
Love, nia

Thank you so much, I really appreciate your kind words, I am a basket case most of the time, that is why I write. If you would like to read my PDF please let me know, I would love to share it with you! 💝 In fact, something just happened to nearly cause a flood of tears, but we will be strong! Will be offline for the next few hours, my day has started!

AWE well I totally understand being a basket case. I always felt that way when my girl was little. She’s 22 now and I still feel like that! She’s been ill since she was 2 so I never had anymore children. I think each day raising children takes all of you. Plus it’s hard when you are alone I know this. I think it’s wonderful to have friends online. If you want to email me feel free to use the email on my comments. I always cry so don’t worry about all those tears they are wonderful stress releases! I’m here! Oh you might want to read my friend laurie her blog has little prayers for mom’s heart and they are very quieting and healing. lauriesnotes.com if you feel to visit her. She helps me a lot. Sending warm mom hugs and a bucket to catch your tears! 😀 ❤

That cocoon protects, but also nurtures growth until the time comes to let go.

I shall pluck the thorn from your side
The ebbing blood shall then subside
Life is but a temporary ride
To love forever, have you tried?

I do not! But thank you. I am trying every day, Sherrie, just to be that little bit stronger. Perhaps it will start working soon?
