It is a necessary evil to travel the elevators at my work, even though I am claustrophobic, I work on the fifth floor of a heritage-listed building, and we are not allowed access from the stairwell from the ground floor as it opens onto the road. I always hope that my elevator-journey will provide some company so as to calm me if the lift stops working. Today a random person entered, and chatted to me in an American accent all the way to level 4. Said person was really open and friendly. It felt like a breath of fresh air. Mostly when people enter the elevator, unless they are with someone when they do so, they don’t make conversation. In general. So to have someone enter and start chatting to me as if we were friends was really great. It made me think of all the beautiful WordPress writers who are so encouraging and supportive.
Thank you to all those who have shared some kindness around my world!

Swajithkas, I am not understanding why when you leave a comment you follow with many exclamation or question marks, and all the capital letters. It appears as though you are shouting at me. Which I am hoping you are not. Blessings to you.

Sorry,
If you felt at that way, in fact, sometimes, it’s keyboard stuck up and sometimes forgot to off CAPS LOCK, so, it is neither intentional or shouting,
If my behavior or manners has caused any trouble in your mind, from bottom of my heart, I apologize about it and please forgive me for my some spelling and grammar mistake too.
Once again sorry………..

Thanks for your visit, reading and comment on my above mention post.
But, why, I am specifically discussing this point with you at a length is that no matter how much talented, creative or innovative we have without our readers or our followers we are nothing, that is the point I would like to clarify and thank GOD many a bloggers like it.
Sorry for any unintentional rude behavior and thanks for replying in me most sweet and humble manner……

We are not nothing without our readers or followers, we are still who we are. If no-one read my blog I would still write. It doesn’t make me nothing, does it?

GOOD POINT,
No Doubt, you as well as many people feel that way but don’t you think sometimes we need little feed back, friendly chat, funny discussion, constructive criticism,
Take the example of our this discussion only, when you mentioned that use of too many Capital letters and question marks annoyed you than only I realized that you are feeling that I am shouting on you, just imagine, if you haven’t point out that point how could I have across it and rectify it?

“American accent”, what is that exactly? Folks from Boston sound different from folks in Georgia, sound different from folks in Texas or Idaho or folks like me from California.

Lol, and they all sound American Oscar! Or at least from the US! Even you do, because I’ve heard you! If you heard my accent you might have No Idea where I come from because I have a strange half english south African/part Australian (I now say yeah instead of ‘ja’ except for at home I still hear myself saying Ya) accent! Have no idea where the stranger friend hails from, but didn’t sound Texan as we had a Texan working in our team for a few years so I know his accent. Xx

I fell in love with the Australian accent when I saw Paul Mercurio in Exit To Eden.

Funny movie with Rosie O’donald and Dan Akroyd. But the book is WAY better! The book is pure erotica. The movie was added a new diamond smuggling plot and the erotica became a subplot. But still entertaining.

There are also different dialects here, it is strange living in a foreign country because one gets accustomed to the accent, but folks here know straight away that I’m from South Africa. So will never be fully integrated. My grandmother was Scottish and lived 50 years in South Africa, but always sounded Scottish to me. So there you go! A quick 101 on accents!
