Spread your wings
Oh butterfly
Spread your wings
And fly
Warm the freezing
Winter air
With fluttering
Paper
Butter
Butter
Butter
Fly
Wings

Especially meaningful to me today since I just attended an art class and exhibit at the Museum on Monarchs and, coincidently, have been listening for the second time to Barbara Kingsolver’s novel “Flight Risk” which uses Monarchs as an extended metaphor.

That’s wonderful to hear! It’s not the best photograph I’ve taken, but was trying to capture the butterfly before it flew away 🙂

Love the rhythm to your words. Has the beat of wings fluttering.
