Is my smile too wide
Is my laugh too loud
Am I too happy?
If I smile and wave
And I call your name
Will I reveal myself?
If I smile and blush
And speak out loud
Will my feelings show?
Should I just be still
Or if I look your way
Will it be a stare?
Am I too happy?
Questions of a real woman!! Men more often think and want women should behave the way we want…Even I’m with such meanness of heart..This poem is an eye-opener.. I’ll treat my lady with all respect and try to understand her hereafter..Thank you

Wow, great how you described these irritations when it comes to strong feelings and cautious steps forward. Love it!

This really caught my thoughts, I know these words-as-feelings too. So much communicated, so clearly, with so few words.

You can never be too happy! Just be yourself and not what society or other folk around you “expect” you should be…again, be true to yourself. This is a huge lesson in life. Before you can be true to yourself you have to know yourself…it can take a lifetime…?
