Untangle
The driftwood wrapped around my heart
Intertwined and gnarled and twisted
Squeezing the goodness from my soul
But untangled and removed
Releases the rocks of turmoil, hate and strife
That have been kept captive – unwelcome guests
Making room for calm waters
Of love and joy and peace
To wash into my heart and soul and life
Cleansing, refreshing
Unhindered and free

Untangle the driftwood…marvellous metaphor for the turmoil in your heart…both the poem and photo are just divine.

Great photo! Is this free to use for commercial purposes? Just want to use it to create a guitar lifestyle image and will be quite heavily ‘Photoshopped’ but just thought I’d ask. Thanks!

No, unfortunately it is licenced to bigstock.com. I paid for a licence to use.
