I don’t! I considered “it”, but a spider isn’t really an “it”, and then I considered a “she”, and thought maybe others would think I called the spider a she because I am a “she”, and so I decided to call the Spider an “he”, I don’t mind changing it (to he or she!). Thank you for reading and commenting.
Okay I will change it back, because I was originally trying to keep a 5-7-5 syllable count (its my poem so it can be 5-7-7 too!) But at your request I will revert 🙂
Just a question out of curiosity, how did you know it was a male spider?

Because someone has noticed my unashamed “his”, I’ve updated poem to be more politically correct, it now refers to his (or her) new home!
