Agapanthus Thriving

This is what a row
Of agapanthus should look
Like, mine certainly don’t!

How hard can it be to grow agapanthus?
Year after year I’ve been getting less flower heads from a whole row of agapanthus and this year I only have one (will take a photo of it later)!

    1. That’s what I don’t understand! I know I don’t have green fingers, hence the choice of agapanthus, where apparently they just grow, but not mine! I have a driveway full of dying agapanthus! All the other aggies in the neighbourhood are at the stage of the photo above, all proud stalks and flower heads about to bloom, I have one single solitary one, of about twenty that were planted (in 2010, which makes them four years old!) I’m in Sydney so normally in December all the plants are in full bloom. Except for mine, I want to cry!
