Take my hand and love me forever
Hold me close and never let me go
Cherish me and I will be yours
Until the sun sets and rises no more

Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Farm Animals
Not the best shots, but taken inadvertently last week at the local school down the road from our home. It is the only school in the area that has it’s own farm, teaching the students about agriculture.
A Telegram to the People of Cape Town.
My mother was a CapeTown-ian and I still have close family residing in Cape Town, which is currently being ravaged by mountain fires.

Message: We, the scattered people who live in faraway places; united by the concept that Life is good, that kindness should dictate our interaction with others, and that compassion is the only way to overcome differences; hereby wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to all Capetonians – especially those who suffered directly as a result of the fire that is still raging.
It is our prayer that you will be sustained by the love of people who care (from all over the world) in this terrible time. Be assured that you are in our thoughts and that we hope that you will emerge from this ordeal stronger and more beautiful than ever.

This movie was worth it, if only for Richard Gere 🙂
We get a chance to revisit India as ‘The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ captures the essence of its chaotic culture and bewitching colours. You can almost feel the heat and take in of the heady fragrance of exotic spices.
This charming film, with its beloved all-star cast, is a celebration that people of all ages can enjoy, and a chance to think about making the most of the opportunities in our lives.
Now that The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel has been filled with long-term residents, co-managers Muriel Donnelly (Maggie Smith) and Sonny Kapoor (Dev Patel) have a dream of expansion and things take an unexpected direction. Evelyn and Douglas (Judi Dench and Bill Nighy) venture into the Jaipur workforce, wondering where their regular breakfast dates will lead. Meanwhile, Norman and Carol (Ronald…

Long Road Ahead
Field of Dreams
https://dailypost.wordpress.com/dp_prompt/just-a-dream/
I’m fleeing, need to escape
Further and further away
Until I see in front of me
Three doors – A, B and C
I look left and right
And then proceed straight ahead
Very cautiously
To see beyond the Door of B
Trees of peace, so lush and green
Air so fresh, very real to me
My nightmare is passed and
I am surrounded by a
Glorious Field of Dreams
