He’s Arrived

I craved so much to have a connection with someone. To have a friend and a level of comfort. Of ease and familiarity. And then it happened. So effortlessly. Everything I ever waited for presented.

He addresses me by name. He doesn’t ghost. He is not precious. He enjoys my company. He talks to me. He listens. And takes the lead. Every time. He is kind and caring.

I’m so thankful. So relieved. All I had to do was wait. After all the frogs I had the kiss, he’s finally arrived.
