Those look so delish, I had to look them up! Traditional recipes seem to call for chocolate & coconut, what are these, blackberry & cream? 👅

I tried to resist, but ended up having half of one! It was raspberry jam and cream, these are more gourmet lamingtons, you are right, the traditional ones are little rectangle sponge cake covered with chocolate and coconut. South Africa also have lamingtons, but their sponge is slightly different texture, and usually in squares not rectangles. 😀
