Nighthawks by Edward Hopper, 1942. Public Domain
Decisions of mine
Every choice I have made
Have all led me here
A silent moment
Alone, having company
Contemplating me
There is no escape!
Wondering what could have been
No door can I see
I long for release!
Echoes of a distant me
Dreaming silently

I like this reflection on how decisions shape our life.

Every small and big choice that we might have made in life are responsible for where we stand today! Thank you for reminding me that…

Well expressed. It reminds me of The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost.

It is always difficult to write something with Nighthawks and we always have a small pieces of silence inside. Excellent.
