Tell me
Please tell me the truth
Of how eyes can look into my own
Melting my heart and caressing my skin
How do eyes reflect love and care
When there is nothing to reflect?
Tell me the truth
So I can use it as salt on my open wound
So that it would burn so deeply
That I would never, no never
Dare look into those eyes –
Eyes of deceipt
Ever again

Eye guess we all into those eyes at least once in life…

Indeed Erika, sad but true. And how much sadder if we had nothing to write about? ❤

OMG….I just saw what nonsens I wrote, too many eyes in my head… lol: “I guess we all look…” (slapping my forehead and rolling my eyes)
Right! The lessons of life give us enough material to share … 😉

Oh Wow! Don’t beat yourself up, we all have our moments of weakness especially when our hearts lets us down so to speak! 😆😆😆
Our eyes are the windows to our souls but some folks are masters at deceit and they’re so darn convincing, that none would be the wiser! I believe they’re called sociopaths and opposed to blood which oughta run in their veins, they’ve got ice in theirs! 😕😩
Soul-ripping and soul-dipping are those lines Vonita, a very cruel fate!
