You looked over
Lingering just a few moments
Too long
Your eyes
Meeting
Catching
Playing
Imagining
I cannot read your mind
But your eyes
Speak for you
You looked over
Lingering just a few moments
Too long
Your eyes
Meeting
Catching
Playing
Imagining
I cannot read your mind
But your eyes
Speak for you
I like how you manage to convey your whole meaning in just a few words. One word and then it unfolds for more meanings, it’s really great.

Interesting thought.
Hoe much do they I wonder. I don’t read others in this as Eye Contact is not something I am able to negotiate. It’s really tough, but it is certainly true that when I do on occasion make eye contact it is as though that other set of eyes is looking deep into my soul and unveiling every thought, fear, worry and feeling.

Ah, when people make eye contact a lot can be inferred and it can make some uncomfortable as well if done too long or even just a little bit too long.

Eye contact…or lack of it says a lot about either person engaging in the contact. Some folk are comfortable with it, others not…most interesting…they say that your eyes are the mirror of your soul…lovely poem 🙂
