Blank paper
Blinks its virgin lines
Taunting me to defile
An untouched page

…love the weighted anticipation in these 4 lines. It almost makes you afraid to make that first mark…but the hesitancy is tangible. Lovely…and I still try to write with olde-fashioned pen and ink when I can! 🙂

I remember the times
When I would touch a paper
And it would take me
On a journey with
Just a pen for a guide.

It does! And I love that song by Natasha Bedingfield, I might post it one day with a little blog on when I heard it one day! 🙂

I somehow feel that way often when I see a nice-looking notebook! More so when I have a nice-looking pen with me :))))
