The time has come
The time is now
To wish farewell
And take a bow
I have no more
No tales to tell
So from me to you
I wish you well
😘😘😘
The time has come
The time is now
To wish farewell
And take a bow
I have no more
No tales to tell
So from me to you
I wish you well
😘😘😘
Um, you’re not giving up blogging are you?

I’m out of poetry, and unless I bore readers with details of my life I have nothing to write about! But having said that now, I might get all my inspiration back 🙂 (I’ve in effect given you a yes and a no, a complete flip-flop in one sentence!)

Give us details of your life. In poetry.

I’m out of words! And inspiration I guess. But can change at any moment. I keep on reading your Obsessed poem. Imagine being obsessed with an Obsessed poem?

That is ironic.
I hope you feel like writing again soon – Owen

Thank you, I’ll still be around, just taking the pressure off for daily poetry writing 🙂

I understand…creativity cannot be forced or rushed…it must come of it’s own accord when it is ready, and that is fine. No right or wrong. Keep an open mind, go with the flow and wait and see what happens. Sometimes a little stillness and stepping to one side for a bit, can cause inspiration to resurface in a new way. Whatever happens, take care, keep well and happy…it will all work out in the end. That was a very honest poem, thank you.

well not sure what direction the Lord is leading – but it sounds like you know when a change is in order -= and we know He will lead, feed, and guide – so best wishes ❤

that is such a good idea – because if it i forced it will lose the umph. Also, just want to be doing what God wants you to do with your time – right? so write as He leads – xxoo

I do hope we hear from you again. Sometimes it seems like our poetry dries up, but it is still there and comes out in the least expected times! I look forward to reading more from you!

Thank you so much. Just keep on having the same lines of poetry echoing through my mind. Either that, or I have nothing. I’ll be doing free-write for a while 🙂

Creative exhaustion. Nothing resonates when once it all did. No worries. It comes back. And then it exhausts again. And then it comes back. Ebb and flow, ebb and flow. Keep in touch. We’ll be here. It’ll be there.

Yes, that’s exactly how I’m feeling. I keep on having the same lines repeat through my mind. Timeout. I’ll do free-write for a while 🙂

Oh, and when you see my niece, now living in Sydney (wait, where’d you say you lived?) you tell her I said to say “hey!” (as we Yanks say)

I’ll tell her to keep an eye out for you (this is fun to make a stranger connection via a family connection…however obscure). Cheers!

Yes I’ve had long periods of not writing poetry and then I’ll write enough for a book. Been writing poems for nearly fifty years. But long stretches “poetryless” if that is a word! It will come back to you. I have enjoyed your poems posted on your blog. Don’t give up forever.
