Girl Time

My daughter and I are having girl time. Boys are out on a three-hour cycle. My son is planning to do a ninety km event later this year. He will be twelve. Good for them I say! In the meanwhile my angel daughter has plaited my hair and touched up my face. She is teaching me to paint because she has been “painting for ages”. Her presence lights up my world.

  4. Wonderful! Make lots of memories, store them up and hold them in your heart for future days…3 of my daughters are now in London, one left at home, 21…one son, 17, still at school, doing exams, also at home. Hoping for a visit from my 23 year old other son, soon, who is studying at Edinburgh Uni. These times spent with your children, when young are magical! By the way, lovely photo.       1. If only we could keep them like that…but they grow up, move on, move away…but we never stop caring or worrying about them. Yes, I do miss them…and that’s part of being a mum. A hard lesson in life…they are not mine to possess, I caretake/ take care of them until they are ready to leave…then they have their own journeys to travel. Enjoy your children while they still look at the world and see miracles everywhere! Good night!
