Either that can be a sad thing or it is just cute.
But at the same time if I re-read there is sense of creepiness there too.
Which is your interpretation of this?
There is a sense of creepiness you are right. It was more along the fact that the little girl was caught up in her reading, and completely unaware of the teddy bears that were somewhat discarded and normally her constant companions. It wasn’t really meant as cute as such. The first poem actually happened today. My daughter was in her room reading, and she had placed a teddy bear next to my laptop, and it was placed so that it’s eyes were watching me. I was looking at its eyes watching me when I wrote the poems.
This may be my favourite Haiku ever!
