The dedicated words which writers use
Are weaved together to inform
To resonate or to amuse
Stories and poems and fiction and tales
Gifts to the world from those who would write
To offer company or perhaps to fix any ails
So if you be lonely and need something to do
And have some time, a few minutes to spare
Pick up a book and read, any closest to you
