I love in the beginning of Love, Actually, we are told about the arrivals hall of an airport, when you stop and look around, there is only love. People greeting, and people leaving, and through both of these, there is love. During the tragic events of 9/11 there were only calls of love.
This song takes me back to 1994, being twenty and in love. I went to my grandparents for a mid-year holiday, and kept on hearing it on the radio. When I arrived back home, my polish boyfriend told me he missed me so much, and he loved me(!). (Bless him)
Back in the days of 1997, I was single and over the Easter weekend had nowhere to go. So I joined a couple of work colleagues, and we headed to the sea for a long weekend. They were both kinda crazy. Myself included. D had a convertible which we jumped into, and he played this song fullblast. It was a weird OTT weekend.
