Strangers have a lot to say
Unkind words thrown straight at me
I felt them fly I felt them fall
Right at my feet and there they lay
I just stood calm and let them come
Surveyed the crumbs across my way
I decided there and then
And one by one
To carefully collect them all
From those words thrown at my face
I weaved myself a crown of
Grace.
As much as we’ve received
Let us share our gifts with grace
Our joy is like a candle flame
To light the eyes and face
The roots of our love
Took hold
And slowly it anchored
Our life
Threw good and bad
And up and down
And everything in between
Over time
Our love grew into a tree
Bearing fruits of grace
There is a grace to be found
In the difficulty of each day
For without the struggle
There will never be
Victory
Love like a dove
Spreads its white wings
Over me
I feel crystal purity
Showered with grace
I have love
Peace to flow over me
Peace to calm my storms
Peace to hold me tight
And peace to fill my poems
Grace to keep me warm
Grace to heal my pain
Grace to fill my need
Grace to shine through rain
Joy to bring a smile
Joy to honor me
Joy to hold my hand
And keep me company
Joy, grace and peace
Intertwined to deliver us
Into liberty
If I had never failed
I would have never been comforted

Prayers from my heart
Reach the One whom I
Adore and in his mercy
I receive love and grace
Supplied abundantly –
Everlasting peace
Church bells in the city
Ring out so clear
Sounding out loud
Declaring to all the world
That Friday night
Upon us, is here
As sure as the sun will rise
Days will turn to night
Until we are faced
With the comfort and grace
Of church bells chiming
In the city, once more
Protected by grace
Against backdrops of the wise
Fresh hope springs to life
