A very helpful friend or two
When my pantry looks a dream
Then you can know, rest assured
It wasn’t all me, but a very good

New Life
The world is burning alive
Raging red fires lick the Earth
Catching the sky by surprise
Destruction is all around
Desolation in its entirety
Until the hunger is satiated
And finally calmness abounds
From the heat of the fire
Peace descends and rising
Out of the burnt dry black—
