Devastated
My heart is
Sliced into shreds
By a butcher’s knife
My tears drip to the floor
And mix with the blood of my
Bleeding heart
Insecurity
Insecurity rises in my chest
Long dark abyss
Wanting to cling
To an anchor post
But all I have
Is a deep dank well
My thoughts wander
Not knowing where to rest
No closure is found
No thank you is given
And all that remains
