I’ve had an ongoing problem with taking pano shoots on my current iPhone, as well as on my previous one. I know the functionality is there because it offers the option. But it never seems to work. So forget that, macro is so much easier, and I can capture flowers up close and personal. And flowers, especially pretty ones, make me happy.
But I’m in Yosemite, and I need my pano shots to work. Today. My twelve year-old who is taller than me (which in 12 year-old speak means he knows more) nonchalantly flipped my phone over. What? I need to hold my phone in portrait mode to take a landscape pano? Really? Who would have thought? That’s what it says, Mum, give it a go.
Hmm. So technology. So 12 year-olds. So pano.

Vonita, the gorgeous waterfall with rainbow reflected in the spray, was such a wonderful gift you captured to share. 🙂

Thank you, Robin, it was a lucky shot, the rainbow didn’t appear in any of the others before and after!

It is so majestic Erika, I love it! And the people are so friendly. I can see why you say it is your second home! My son is too funny, he loves to be able to help me with things 🙂 and he loves being taller than me, it makes his day to be able to look down on me lol!

Oh yes, they feel so much wiser and grown up once they are taller in size. My 17-year-old is pretty arrogant at times. But he will lose it over time. My 1e-year-old is taller too meanwhile but still behaves… more or less. lol!
I am glad you can see the magic of California. But just wait until you reach the south…. I left my heart there!

Stunning photos Vonita 🙂 Kids may be a nuisance at times, but they aren’t half helpful when it comes to technology! Lol! 🙂
I’m with you on taking the macro shots though, and I imagine the Yosemite has some stunning flora to photograph, to go with the amazing scenery!
