The plan was always to send my daughter to a girls-only school for high school. Now with my son in a mixed school, we are thinking of sending her there too. She spoke to me about it yesterday. Do I want her in a mixed school so she can find a boyfriend when she is older? I don’t think so, I told her. I want her to focus on her school-work, but the world is made up of males and females. So it is perhaps good for her to get used to boys now, instead of being separated until later. And good to get used to their smell, she replied.
Because they smell really bad, she clarified.

Hahaha, that is one smart girl you’ve got there 😄.

Totally, I’ve noticed with my son, he needs to double up on the deodorant!

lol. Yes there was a time my brother’s really stunk. My mom would remind them to take two showers a day and put on deodorant often. I think they were worse end of junior high. But I remember some boys in HS who either needed showers or needed to wear less cologne. 🙂

Haha! I was in an all-girls school and enjoyed it, but thinking now maybe a mixed-school would have been better?

Yea – and I have heard pros for splitting them up – but I personally like them mixed – just me – I had boys and feel the more they could learn about females the better – and they learn so much by observing and interacting! But also the all girls school my sister went to taught her to party hearty and the whole culture was like making up for the isolation – ha! Jk – but I am more for mixed – hmmmm

I believe main concern is safety. If the public school is safe. Good for kid to mix and learn how to live. Girl only school. Better education usally. Less things to worry about,

Definitely less to worry about in a girls-only school. I went to one, and it is only now I’m older I’m thinking perhaps it was not the best choice, though j enjoyed it at the time. Thanks for commenting.
