Believe

I believe in myself

My talents and my will

I believe in myself

My craft and my skill

I believe in my mind

My heart and my soul

I believe in myself

I can and I will

I won’t let me down

Through the night

Or the dawn

I will draw strength

From the deep endless well

Of courage and my grit

To live the best life

I was born to fulfill.

Tenacity

Sometimes one is needing tenacity to get through what one needs to get through in life. Such example for me this morning. I failed at something. I had to solve a few problems, and I solved none. In short, I failed. Again. I burst into tears. But fortunately for me, I’m used to failure. And picking myself up again. Because it’s boring and tired on the floor.

So this afternoon and evening I solved all the problems. I could and I did. It might be too little, too late, but for me, I have closure. I can say I can do something. Because I could and I did. My tears have dried. I am feeling happy (as much as).

And I can say this for myself. I have tenacity.

I Did It!

Two weeks ago I wrote an exam, and failed by two questions. I am fortunate enough to have an understanding manager who sponsored a retake for me. And today, two days before Christmas, I passed! Yay! Now I get my headspace back, head from out of a 500-page study guide.

It has been mentioned by two different people in the past week that I have tenacity. I have never used that word before. So it is a bit strange to hear it twice in one week. But I passed, and I am glad! And relieved 🙂
