The song of your voice
Echoed along the sands of time
Your footsteps etched along a lonely shore –
The only reminder that you were once here
I will not fear as I go
For I know my Redeemer loves me so
Season after season my frangipani tree bears no flowers. But guess what I spotted today!
Gift of nature
Gift so free
Gift of love
Held out to me
In a bruised world:
Freedom to love
Freedom to live
Freedom to laugh
Freedom to be
Our spirits can never
Be captured
When love is our banner!
Praying for those injured, hurt and victims of a cruel heart xx
I want to stay in bed the whole day
but I have to get up
i don’t want to be me

When I say words
I know I will regret

When I lash out
And say what I want to say
The remorse overcomes
The sorrow drowns
The hurt pains
And I hate myself
Can I reverse the clock
Can I unsay the words
Can I undo the wounds
Can I be someone else
Anyone but me?
Outside the window
I look upon
Trees of green
Clouds of sky
Lawns of grass
Cool air
Fresh breath
Other worlds
And freedom
From the chains
That bind me
Mercilessly
To my mind
