Fragile memories of
Sorrow mixed with sweet.
My mind floods with those who
Filled my heart—
Stolen from me suddenly,
Precious souls.
They brighten the shadows
With splashes of golden sun.
Love is my Banner
Facing new futures
Discarding the past
Searching for brightness
Through darkened shadows
Hope is my crown
My pride and my joy
Love is my banner
I hold my head high
Dividing Sea
Close your eyes
And feel my touch
Open your heart
To feel my love
Extend your hands
To reach for mine
If there were no
Seas to separate
I would be there
To keep you warm
Shaded Vision
Loving you through shaded vision, seeing you through strands of hope, waiting for your love to warm me, blurs my world to black and white. Banishes all vibrant color, I am freezing in the cold. Before I know it, think it, say it, all my love’s returned to me.
