I would give my father
Whom I never see
Being worlds apart
A private health fund
So he could get
The health he needs
To visit in Sydney
And meet the grandkids
He doesn’t know

Dialysis Kidney
“Confined within one body
Nowhere else to flee
Captive spirit housed in
Fleshly home assigned to me”
“Kidneys, they are not working
These organs given to me
Dialysis machine becomes
My fate to living free”
“First day on and next day off
Needle in my artery
Blood flowing through machine
To be cleansed through refinery”
