A burning world
Gives birth to
Raging flames
Devouring the earth
And smoking the sky.
Destruction is followed by
Desolation
Until the hunger of the beast
Is satiated.
Only then
After its anger has been quenched
Can peace abound.

Flowing River
I manage to stop.
Choking back my tears I smile.
Until I remember.
The river flows again.
Nothing Left
Watching you
Watching me
I turn myself away
I cannot open
My heart is closed
I want to run away
I breathe a breath
To calm myself
I have nothing left
To give
