I sent a few words
Wondering if they would merely be
Returned to sender
You added your words
Turning incompleteness complete
And sent them to me

For every wrong thing you did
For every unkind word
I made an excuse
For you
It took awhile for me
To realize
I really do
Love myself more
Hardened Wall

Say a word
But all I get is a
Wall
I knock
But there is no
Answer
Your silence is deafening my
Heart
While the pain in my chest
Deafens my soul and mind
The stone and bricks have been
Laid
One upon another
Until
There is no way to enter in
Speak to me!
I plead
My tears flow forth
But there is only an impenetrable
