I decided to participate this week in Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge by taking photos on my way to work and back home again. This is what I came up with!

Tree standing guard

Church shaded by trees

Crossing the road

Walking towards my work building

Across the road from my work

Random house and tree on my way home

My next door neighbor
And I’m home!
Thank you for joining me on my travels today 🙂

This photo was taken at a Japanese restaurant Umami on Friday evening. I loved the intricate artwork, hand drawn with chalk. I had to take a photo of it. And then I saw the topic for this week was Graffiti and Murals. Perfect!

South African talent on display in Cape Town, South Africa.

Who can resist a peace sign artfully decorating the side of a Beetle? Flower Power all the way!

Random Sydney Graffiti. I knew I would find a home for this creativity!
This image represents the beginning of the journey of my Passion Through Poetry blog, it has only been a few months at most, but feel I have grown so much since then. It feels more like a lifetime away.
My aunt lovingly created this image for me from a King Protea photo. And as you can tell, I love orange!
Baby asleep and totally unaware:
I’ve extended the challenge to include animals (she (Lola) was too exhausted after getting lost in the bush yesterday, my friend had to fetch the car to fetch her, she is only 8 months old 🙂 )
Not the best shots, but taken inadvertently last week at the local school down the road from our home. It is the only school in the area that has it’s own farm, teaching the students about agriculture.
This is the bike my husband wanted me to buy:
And this is the bike I bought (because #Style)
And here I am, all ready to go!
As I was walking that ribbon of highway
I saw above me that endless skyway
I saw below me that golden valley
I’ve roamed and rambled and I followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sand
Of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me.
