Refrigerator in our local South African store in Sydney covered in uniquely South African images. Which reminds me, I may need to go back for one of those white teapots on the top!

Cee’s Odd Ball Photo Challenge: 2015 Week #14

Dispute

image

I used my words
To speak my thoughts
I spoke my mind
To make my point
I made my point
My mind was heard
And now today
I pay the price

Goodbye

goodbye

I wanted to see you today
But you were busy
I wanted to speak to you
But you could not hear
I wanted to hear your voice
But in saying nothing
You said goodbye

Blurred

The lights brighten
Before retreating back
Into the eerie darkness
From which they cautiously
Emerged

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: “Blur.”

Writing

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “It’s a Text, Text, Text, Text World.”

I write without filter
In person being reserved
Saying few words
But if one would like to
Break through my barriers
Don’t talk to me, but write
It is the key to unlock me

Captured Dream

image

At the moment I felt pain
You walked past my way
In the briefest of time
Your eyes met with mine
And I felt then, that you
Took the pain away
Last night in my dreams
You comforted me again

Longing

Longing

I remember the days
We spent together
I remember that moment
We first met
I will always feel
The longing in my heart
To be close to you

April Fool

April Fool's Day Clipart

In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Fool Me Once.”

I’m a fool for love
I’m a fool for food
I’m a fool for April
But especially!
I’m a fool for you

*No jokes today, I ain’t got no funny in me*
